Hitting goals consistently is all about the “low hanging fruit”.
There’s a thousand things you do in your day that will either bring you closer to that goal or make it look like a marathon away.
Thinking big picture in the beginning is great and will give you something to shoot for.
Along the your journey you’ll need to take one step at a time. In the beginning you want to create momentum.
Small easy steps evolve into bounding leaps.
So what could be an easy first step?
Go to bed earlier instead of watching TV or creeping on Instagram.
When you eat out cut the portion in half and save the rest for later.
Instead of 4 packets of sugar in your coffee try 2.
Skipping that soda and drinking water instead. Or discover the awesomeness of La Croix.
When you make dinner make extra so you don’t need to eat out at lunch.
Build momentum off small victories so that when it comes time to attack something bigger you’ll be ready.
In the comments I want to hear what you’re going to do.
What’s the step you’re going to take to reaching your goal this year?
